Guidelines for this “horizontal” responsibility
GENERAL
Pray for and pay attention to people in this age group.
Be the conscience for the leadership team to reach and serve this area.
Assess and sponsor what the church offers to evangelize, disciple, and care for these people.
PERSONAL
“Go after” and seek to assimilate new people.
Provide pastoral care in needs, sickness, tragedies, slippage in their attendance or involvement or attitudes.
GROUPS
Lead an “open” meeting for people in this area –a place to meet them and for them to know others.
Plan and teach and help to organize a Sunday or home Learning Community to serve these.
Lead at least one discipleship-accountability group (5-6 others) –meeting at least twice a month, studying Scripture that meets the heart, praying for each other, sharpening one another.
